M477B  World War II Folding Entrenching Shovel Tool

This is an excellent shovel, or entrenching tool. It is manufactured by AMES and is marked "US 1944". Very good all original condition on this very versatile piece of military gear. One can use this as a shovel, a hoe, or even a cutting sickle. There is no damage to the shovel and the mechanism to fold and lock the shovel in different working positions works perfectly. It measures 27 3/4" long by 6" wide. What a great tool to pack along in one's own vehicle for that emergency need. - SOLD
