T522 Cast Iron Greyhound Bus- This is a great cast iron Greyhound toy bus that depicts the buses that were used for the Exposition. I also have a miniature souvenir card that shows this same bus in use. On the back of the souvenir card it reads; 'INTRA-MURAL BUS - Within the grounds of the Exposition, visitors will be transported by a fleet of sixty semi-trailer type open buses, which will accommodate 15,000 to 20,000 passengers per hour. This card is one of sixteen that shows different sites, and buildings at the exposition. The cast iron bus measures 11 1/2" long, 2" high, and 2" wide. The six rubber wheels are all there, one of the wheels is not secure, it will fall off. On the top of the bus, is marked, 'GMC - A Century of Progress - Chicago - 1933 - Greyhound Lines'. This is a great toy, dated to the Chicago World's Fair Exposition, 1933. Has Greyhound advertising connection, plus being a great old cast iron toy, not to mention have the souvenir card to go with it. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to own this toy. - SOLD Click here to view other Cast Iron Toys
