F197C Walnut Victorian Etagere
Impressive Renaissance Revival walnut Victorian hooded etagere. The crest has raised shaped burled panels with a carved bust in the middle of the cartouche. The arched central mirror is flanked on both sides by four other shaped mirrors. There are three shaped shelves on each side with open carved supports. The white marble on the base is original. There is a drawer on the bottom with a carved pull. The frame is decorated with raised burled panels. The underside of the hood, shelves and base feature a very highly figured burl. A very lovely etagere! Measures 49" Width, 16" Depth and 101" Height. Circa: 1870. This came from an estate in north western Kansas. - $5750.
