F271C  Oak Bookcases - Macey

This is an all original five high sectional stacking quarter sawn oak bookcase that is signed by it's maker, 'Macey'. All five sections are signed. The exterior measurements are 75" high, 34" wide, and 10" deep. One could store a lot of books inside this bookcase and in fact some people use these bookcases as display cabinets. This bookcases came from Christoper Watkins of Columbia Missouri. Chris is a 5th generation lawyer and these bookcases have been passed down in the family originally purchased around 1911 by O. W. Watkins Sr. where the were in the German American Bank Building at 7th & Felix in Saint Joesph Missouri and passed down to his son O.W.Watkins. Jr. to his son Thomas D. Watkins and to his son T. Christoper Watkins. - As you can see from the photos we were fortunate to purchase quite a few and can offer several combinations. It is not often that we have the matching sets.  I currently have 7 of these bookcases. We can makes some nice matching sets if interested give us a call.
