F631C  Rare Oak Sectional File Cabinet w/ Stereoscopes & Cards

Rare quarter sawn oak sectional file cabinet with paneled sides. Notice that the top sections have storage compartments that are filled with original old stereoscope cards or slides. The file compartments on the top measure 3 3/4" wide and are 8" high for the interior measurements. The bottom section stores the stereoscope viewers themselves, you will notice that there is 14 of them in this bottom section. There is a patent date of 1901 on these stereoscopes. The bottom section measures approximately 14"w by 27 1/2" high for interior storage. The cabinet has an original manufacturer label that reads, 'Underwood & Underwood - New York'. There is over 2,000 stereoscope cards in this cabinet, with an unbelievable amount of history available, some of the cards are also marked, Underwood and Underwood. The overall measurements of this cabinet are 16 1/2" wide, 17 3/4" deep and 51 1/2" high. This is an exceptional find to have a high end quality sectional file cabinet and over 2,000 stereoscope cards and 14 viewers. You will not want to miss out on this unique find! -
