F749B Country Store Bolt or Screw Cabinet
This 72 drawer bolt cabinet is all original and in good original condition. This cabinet measures 21" diameter and is 33"
high, each drawer is 7" Wide and 2 3/4" Height. Notice that the original stenciled markings are on each drawer face, and they are still in very legible and good condition.
This particular bolt cabinet came from out of a hardware store in Emerson, Iowa where it had been used to dispense bolts and screws from. Note that we have a copy from a newspaper article telling some of the history behind this man by the name of Charles Davis. Charles Davis along with his father bought the lumberyard in Emerson in 1902 and moved there in 1905. The lumberyard was bought from the Carson family. Later the business was incorporated as the Greenwood Lumber Company, with yards at Silver City, Emerson, Imogene, and Treynor Iowa.
Notice that we were also able to acquire a carpenter's apron with the advertising on it for, 'Greenwood Lumber Co. - Emerson, Imogene'.
