F868B Country Store Oak Spool Cabinet Roll Up Sides
This is an all original oak spool cabinet made by 'Clark's'. Notice that one would load the thread on the top of the cabinet where there is hinged doors, and then to dispense the thread one could raise the roll on either side to display the thread options, or the opposite two sides reveal glass fronts for seeing one's choices and then you pull down on the drawer face to expose the thread and choose the thread of your choice. The cabinet spins on a 'Lazy Susan' type spinning mechanism for allowing one access to the entire cabinet when it is sitting on a counter. There is several different styles of spool cabinets, and this type is without doubt one of the most detailed and a fine piece of craftsmanship.
