G036C Yellow Aladdin Moonstone Vertique Lamp

Manufactured in 1938. This is the beautiful Moonstone Yellow Aladdin lamp. The moonstone name denotes the way the glass appears to glow like the light of the moon, and the name Vertique refers to the vertical ridges of the bowl of the lamp. There are a couple of unique characteristics to this Aladdin lamp. One is the intense glow the "yellow" Vertique displays under a black light. This is due to the use of uranium as a coloring agent in the glass. A beautiful lamp!
This all original Aladdin lamp measures 24 1/2" high to the top of the chimney. The base is 6 1/2" diameter. The wick dial has raised lettering and it reads, 'Mantle Lamp Co. Nu-Type Model B Aladdin Patents Pending Made in U.S.A. Chicago, Illinois'. Again, this is a beautiful Aladdin lamp that would make an excellent addition to any fine Aladdin lamp collection. - $895.
