G044C Handel Curved Slag Glass Paneled Lamp

All original signed, 'Handel' table lamp that is decorated with an Art Nouveau floral design of metalwork that overlays the multi-colored green slag glass shades. This lamp has a hexagonal shape and it measures 21 1/2" high, the shade has a diameter of approximately 14 1/2" diameter, and the base is 7" diameter. In two different places this lamp and base are signed. Around the top metal ring this lamp shade is signed, 'Handel Lamps - Pat'd No. 979664', and on the underside of the pedestal there is a cloth label that reads, 'Handel Lamps'. This lamp is an excellent all original example of a high quality Handel lamp, complete with the acorn pulls and notice the smooth lines to the lamp's pedestal base. The metalwork of this lamp has a brass colored tone to it. If you are looking for that finishing touch in adding a quality lamp to feature in your home then you will definitely want to consider making this lamp a part of your home or office décor. This lamp is in working order, and it also has a nice Arts and Crafts look to it as well.
We acquired this lamp at a local auction held here in south central Nebraska of WILLIAM H. & CHARLENE MILLER ESTATES of Grand Island, Nebraska -This family had run the Rainbow Bakery. - SOLD
