G055B  Castor Set  -  Pelton Bros. Silver Plated 

This is a signed silver plated holder that was made by the, 'Pelton Bros. & Co. - St. Louis - Triple Plated'. Notice the detailed scrolling floral design that goes around this castor holder and the handle with the equally beautiful floral pattern. A nice feature of this silver plated castor holder is that it has an enclosed bottom that will protect the inserts. A great number of holders leave the bases of the glass oils and vinegars exposed and raise the chance of the glass being nicked. There is six clear glass inserts each with etched floral designs in the glass that compliment the floral design of the silver plate holder. Three oil holders with glass stoppers, two shakers for salt & pepper, and one mustard. The inserts vary in size with the glass stoppers being the tallest at 8 1/2" high, the diameter of each insert is approximately 2 1/2". The silver plated holder is tall and measures 20" high. The diameter of the holder at the widest point is 8 1/2" and at the base is 6" diameter. Again nice impressed signature on the silver plated base. This is a detailed castor set with nice style. - SOLD
