G057C Scenic Gone with the Wind Lamp
All original kerosene lamp with earth tone colors that depict an outdoor scene of a cottage type home on both the base and the shade of the lamp. Notice the unique scene on the base of the lamp with the thatched roof and the upward extensions in the peak of the roof. I am uncertain of the architectural design of this roof. The scene on the top shade is that of a larger home still in an outdoor cottage type setting. Another unique feature is the beaded fringe that extends downward on the rim of the lamp. The beads are a burgundy color and they extend down approximately 3 1/2". This lamp measures 24 1/2" high and the top shade is approximately 13" diameter which is the widest point. The burner is marked, 'Royal'. The glass chimney on this lamp is signed with an etched signature on the base that reads, 'Rex-Lead Flint Lippincott Maker'. This lamp was purchased from an estate sale in Centralia, Illinois. The family said it had been stored in the attic for over 40 plus years. Good all original condition, this lamp is certain to be a main feature in your home or office, where ever you might choose to display.
