G099C Mason's 1 Qt. Blue Butter Churn
All original old glass butter churn that has for a base a blue colored glass fruit jar that reads in embossed lettering: 'The Marion Jar - Mason's - Patent Nov. 30th 1858'. This churn is all complete with wooden paddle on the inside. On the metal impressed in the iron there is a number '71' and '63M'. The glass has no cracks and the only imperfection is a small ding around the very top edge of the glass jar. This is only visible when you remove the beater out of the churn. Measures 13" high and the diameter on the base is 4 1/2". This piece is an excellent old kitchen utensil that you will not want to miss adding to your own personal antique collection, and how fun to have a patent date of 1858.
