G101C Purple Slag Glass Pickle Castor
Rare and unusual purple colored slag glass pickle castor insert with full figural begging dog on the top of the silver plated lid. Insert has cut out designs with grooved lines and squares on the bottom half of the insert. This decorative holder is stamped on the bottom, 'Meriden Rogers & Co.' This quadruple plated holder has a flower on the very top and an impressed floral design that encircles the base of the holder where the insert rests. This holder measures 12 1/2" high and the diameter of the holder at the widest point is 4 1/2" diameter. This set is all original, in good condition, and all complete. - $995.
