G113B Rare Blue Cut Glass Puff Box with Lid - Hawkes
This is a very rare and beautiful blue colored cut puff box that is signed, 'Hawkes'. Above the Hawkes wordage signature there is the company logo that depicts in a trifold form, a hawk in each of the two bottom lobes with a fleu-de-lis in the center. This covered lid puff box stands on a pedestal, and the lid is topped with a sliver knob. This same piece can be found on page 81in 'Boggess' book, 'Brilliant Cut Glass Book - 4th Edition'. This piece is in exceptional all original condition. This piece measures 5 1/2" in diameter and stands 6" high. Beautiful scrolling floral designs decorate this blue glass cut piece.
