G116C  Soda Fountain Nickel Coke Glasses - 2

This is a set of twenty small 4" high drinking glasses with the advertising of 'Drink Coca-Cola' on the glasses. We refer to these as nickel 'Coca-Cola' glasses because a nickel at the local drug store would buy this size of 'Coke'. What is nice is that on the bottom of these glasses in etched writing there is an etched star emblem and on the inside of the star there is the letters, 'H.T.' and on the left hand side of the star is the number '4' and on the right hand side is the number '9'. I do not know what the initials, 'H.T.' represent but if you do please let us know. All the glasses have the numbers '49' except for one and it would appear to be the number '50'. This set of twenty glasses came from right here in our home town of Lexington, Nebraska out of a local business that is no longer operating. This business was known as King's Pharmacy and in the early years they also had an old soda fountain in the store. The diameter on the bottom of the glass is 1 3/4" diameter and the top opening is 2 1/2". This is a great set of old Coca-Cola advertising glasses and if you are looking for something fun to add to your Coke advertising collection then you will not want to miss adding this set of twenty small drinking glasses. Good all original condition with just two small dings on the bottom rims of two of the glasses, you don't even see these imperfections until you turn the glasses upside down. -  $400. for the set
