G121C Webster Figural Cupid Brides Bowl
Beautiful full figural winged cupid stand supports this crimped ruffled edge art glass bowl with clear overlay over swirling white, lemon yellow, and clear, almost end of day colored brides bowl. The outside of the bowl is decorated with an enameled design of contrasting and bright colors of blue, red, white, and gold. Excellent all original condition on the art glass brides bowl. The stand is silver plated and is marked by it's maker, 'Webster' on the bottom with a spider web emblem signature. Marked for E.G. Webster on the base. Elizur G. Webster founded his silver company in 1860 in New York, in 1867 it became Webster Manufacturing, so the little spider web mark is one of his earlier marks. Excellent original condition on the stand as well with only one slight wear mark on the very base. This art glass basket and stand measure an impressive 15 1/4" high and the basket has a diameter of 11". The base of the stand measures 6" x 6". This is a cheer and unique colored brides bowl that would make a unique a colorful change in one's decorating décor.
