The Burmese domes were Made by Thomas Webb & Sons of Stourbridge, England ca. 1880s, and are held in 'Clarkes Patent Trade Mark Cricklite' clear cups and these cups are secured in cup rings that are attached to an ormolu frame secured to a classic weighted silverplated Corinthian column. This Corinthian base is featured on page 204 in the reference book, 'Fairy Lamps' by Bob and Pat Ruf.
This particular piece came from out of the private estate collection of Bea Fray of Moberly, Missouri. Her husband was an eye doctor for many years in this area and Bea recently sold down some of his fine antiques. We are thrilled to be able to offer this fine piece for sell. Please check out my other items as there was some other fine antiques and several nice pieces of Wedgwood that we were able to acquire along with this fine piece.
