G163B Red Wing # 4 Butter Churn Lavender Wing
This is the hard to find #4 Red Wing butter churn all complete with the wooden dasher, and original lid. However, what is unusual about this churn is the lavender color of the 'Red' wing on this churn. The churn is also marked with the, 'Patent Dec. 21st, 1915', and the oval, 'Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. - Red Wing Minn.' emblem. Original wire bail handles are still complete in the molded slots. The lid is impressed with, '3 & 4', information. Excellent all original condition with no cracks, or chips.
The churn measures a little over 15 1/2" high the diameter of the top is 9 1/2" with the molded handles being 10 1/2" wide across. If you collect Red Wing then you will not want to miss this unusual lavender or purple colored wing on this #4 crock butter churn.
