G182B Wier 1 Quart Stoneware Fruit Canning Jar
This is a No. 7 Weir Canning Jar, the one quart size with the more unusual all original lid. Notice on the top of the lid signed in raised letters this crock jar reads, 'The Weir ' Pat'd Mar 1st 1892'. This is a wonderful example of a early vintage fruit canning jar. The original wire lid locking mechanism works just fine. It measures 8" high to the top of the wire handle, is 4" diameter at the bottom, it tapers to 3" at the top. It is in excellent all original condition and complete with a carrying handle. Note that on the bottom of this Weir canning jar there is a raised number '7' on the bottom of the jar. - $95.
