G199A Large Wavecrest Box 

- This is a beautiful painted Wavecrest box with an unusual design and colors. This has the popular Helmschmied Swirl design and the painting of the flowers and enameling is in very good condition. The box measures 6 1/2" Diameter and 4 3/4" Height. The hinge and clasp are in good condition with the original silk liner. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. Wavecrest was made by the C. F. Monroe in Meriden, Connecticut at the turn of the Century (1900). - SOLD
