G262C Sanford's School Paste Advertising Crock Jar
Old crock jar with original crock lid that has molded into the lid the following information: 'Weir Seal - Western Stoneware Co. - No. 5'. Notice that on the side of the crock jar there is a paper label that advertises, 'Sanford's School Paste - No. 755 - Sanford Mfg. Co. - Chicago & New York'. The crock is complete with a wooden bail handle and wire locking mechanism to secure the crock lid. This crock measures approximately 9" high, and has a diameter of 7". The bottom of the crock is impressed with the numbers '150-52.' If you collect old antique Weir crocks, or old advertising then this all original old crock will be an excellent addition to your collection. - $225.
