G302C Crown Milano Mt. Washington Fruit Bowl w/ Pairpoint Stand
Exceptional all original condition on this Crown Milano enameled floral designed fruit bowl with corresponding marked 'Pairpoint' stand. The bowl is a Mt. Washington Crown Milano piece that has a unique enameled floral design. Notice how there is two layers of decoration on the outside of the bowl, there is the obvious enameled flowers which are outlined with a golden bronze color and then when looking closely one can also see that there is a two toned circular design that is flush to the glass as well, this design gives a unique and deeper décor. The bowl measures an impressive 11 1/2" x 10" approximate dimensions and just the bowl is 4 3/4" high. The stand has the same unique triangular shape as the bowl with the triangle shape being the feet of the stand. Both the bowl and the stand are marked well, the bowl with the 'Crown Milano' signature and the stand with the quadruple plate 'Pairpoint Mfg. Co.' signature. This piece is number '2201'. The total height of this item is 12" high when the bowl and stand are together and the feet are approximately 9 1/4" apart on the base. This same type of featured in the reference book, 'Mt. Washington - by Arthur & Betty Fisk, on page 230. This is a beautiful art glass piece that is in excellent all original condition. - $4950.
