G329B Clear Pattern Glass Pickle Castor
This is an attractive swirling 'S' design pattern clear glass insert pickle castor that is displayed in a silver plated holder that is signed. The signature however is a partial engraving as the first half of the stamped signature did not get on the metal. What I can read is, 'Bros. Co. - ? Plate -116'. This silver plated holder is smooth lined and measures 9 1/4" high with a bottom rim diameter of 4 3/4". This Victorian pickle castor comes complete with silver plated lid, and pickle tongs. The pickle tongs are not silver plated. The clear pattern glass insert is in very good all original condition. In the very bottom of the insert molded in the glass it reads, 'Pat.'d.' Again, all original very good condition on this clear pattern glass pickle castor. - $395.
