G335B Victorian Enameled Pickle Castor
This is a beautiful Victorian pickle castor that features a diamond design in the glass with a unique almost rubina color, with the cranberry swirl of color in the middle of the insert. The insert is then decorated with an enameled floral design. This is a beautiful insert and it rests in a footed holder that is stamped, 'Middletown Plate Co. - Quadruple plate' 'Hard White Metal'. Beautiful corresponding engraved floral designs decorate the holder and it is complete with the metal lid and same engraved design as well as the pickle tongs. The holder measures 11" high, and is 4 1/4" diameter across the feet. The insert has a diameter of 3". This is a beautiful Victorian pickle castor that would make an excellent addition to any fine collection. Excellent all original condition. - SOLD
