G350B Country Store Planters Peanuts Advertising Jar
Exceptional all original old embossed glass with paper label dispensing and advertising jar for 'Planter's Salted Peanuts'. This glass jar is molded in the shape of a wooden barrel, notice the vertical lines that represent wooden planks of wood. The lid is famous with the salted peanut shaped handle on the lid, and the reverse embossed letters that read, 'Planters'. Also, note the two planter peanut graphic logo peanuts with their top hats and canes that have been molded into the glass jar. The famous, 'Mr. Peanut' character. The jar is marked on the bottom, 'Made in U.S.A.' in raised letters. This jar measures 12 1/2" high, and has a diameter of 8" on the top and the center curves out to a measurement of approximately 8 1/2" diameter. Excellent all original condition on both the jar and lid, this jar is a keeper and a great find to add to one's country store or Planter's peanuts collections. - $895.
