G355A Wavecrest Footed Box Ormolu Mounts
- Fantastic Brass Claw footed Wavecrest Box with Brass Ormolu fittings with original clasp. This lovely Helmschmied swirl shaped box has the original pink silk liner. Decorated with enamel flowers with very minor wear. The hinge is very tight. Measures a very large 8" Diameter and 6 1/2" Height. Boxes like these do not come up very often. Wavecrest was made by the C. F. Monroe in Meriden, Connecticut at the turn of the Century (1900).
