G426B  Buffalo Pottery Deldare Trivet or Tea Tile

This is a rare piece of Deldare Buffalo pottery done in the shape of a trivet or tea tile. Notice on this piece the silver metalwork scrolling overlay around the outmost edge. This trivet measures 6 1/4" diameter, and stands approximately 3/4" high. The scene on this trivet is titled, 'Traveling in Ye Olden Days'. The scene is artist signed, 'P. Hall'. The backside of the trivet is marked well with the Deldare signature and it reads, 'Made at Ye Buffalo Pottery - Deldare ware Underglaze 1908'.
