G471B  Ornate Opaline Tumble Up

Beautiful ornate hand painted opaline tumble up with detailed painting of a bird, butterflies, and a gorgeous floral design. The cup has a detailed geometrical design on the bottom which of course is visible when placed upon the top of the storage container. This opaline set has outlines of gold, which is slightly worn in places, but excellent all original condition throughout this unique piece. When displayed as one unit this set measures 8 3/4" high and at the widest point is 4 1/2" diameter the cup has a diameter of 3". The top spout of the storage container is 1 3/4" across and the opening is just right at 1" diameter. There is a hand painted number '5' on the bottom of the tumble up is the only signature that I see. This is a great piece of opal art glass that you will be sure to want to add to your own personal collection. - SOLD
