G492B Schlitz Brewing Co. Advertising Crock Mug
This is a unique piece of stoneware which advertises, 'Schlitz Brewing Co. Milwaukee' and on the opposite side of the mug there is an embossed phrase on the mug and it is in German I believe. Please correct me if this is wrong, and the phrase is as follows, 'Trink aber sauf nicht - Disputir aber rauf nicht'. If someone can correctly translate this phrase it would be fun to know what it translates in English. This mug measures 5" high and the bottom has a diameter of 3 1/4" diameter the top opening is 2 3/4" diameter. Very good all original condition. - $245.
