M006B Rice's Pig Tin Sausage & Lard Advertising
This is a nice all original old tin advertising lard pail that is still all complete with even the tin lid. This pail held four pounds of lard. Notice the nice graphic of the pig on two sides of the bucket and the writing in the middle that reads, 'R.B. Rice's - Pure Lard, Oxygen Interceptor Added to improve stability. Trademark U.S. Pat.'. On the bottom rim of the bucket there is the company information that reads, 'R.B. Rice Sausage Co., Inc. - Lee's Summit, MO'. There is also the stamp of the, 'U.S. Inspected and passed by Department of Agriculture EST. 144'. This little bucket measures 6 1/2" high and the diameter at the top of the bucket is 5 3/4" diameter and at the bottom it is 5 1/4" diameter. On the very bottom of the pail there is a stamped and raised letter, 'H'. Condition is all original and very good, only minor wear spots.
