M030C 1929 Peoria Life Insurance Co. Advertising Calendar
Large all original paper calendar that is unused from 1929-1930. The top of this calendar is decorated with a print that is titled, 'Pretty Polly' by Bradshaw Crandell. The print depicts a young woman with a parrot resting on her finger. The wordage around the print has a political statement for the time and reads, 'We insure men and women on equal terms and children of any age from birth - The Peoria Life Insurance Company - Peoria, Illinois - David H. Jenkins - District Manager Sioux City, Iowa'. This calendar measures 22 1/2" wide and is 45 1/2" long. What a wonderful and colorful display this paper advertising sign is. - SOLD
