M072B Hotel Bell Mechanical Windup
What fun! Just what we all wanted to be able to ring as much as we wanted, this is an all original old silver plated mechanical wind up hotel bell. You wind the bell with the top push finger ringer. It does appear as if someone has tried to polish this bell at some time, and there is some unevenness to the silver of the bell. Still has a nice patina look however. A very nice feature is the impressed signature on the bottom of the bell that reads, 'Manning Bowman & Co.'. Bottom diameter of the bell is just a little over 3 1/2", and the height is 2 3/4" high.
