M075B  Child's Barber Chair

This is a very rare and unique find for an antique child's barber chair. This twisted wire construction and round wooden seat style reminds one of the antique pool hall style or ice cream table style of furniture. The chair has an adjustable height mechanism which allows you to adjust the height of this barber chair. The height of this chair when it is in the lowest position is approximately 38" and when raised is 40" high. The wooden seat has a diameter of 12". The base of the chair measures 15" x 16". This child's barber chair was a wonderful charm to it with the original red paint that has nice patina and personality. The chair has a story to tell as the red paint has been highlighted with splashing of white paint. This all original barber chair would add wonderful character to a room decorated with vintage and antique quilts or in a room decorated with a cute antique Steiff teddy bear positioned in the seat. This chair was originally used in a barber shop in the Ohio area. - SOLD
