M112B  Tin Calendar Sign Bank Advertising Iowa

This is an old all original tin spin wheel daily date calendar that was personalized to advertise 'Iowa - Des Moines National Bank - Member Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation'. Underneath the number 1 date display flap is the following information: 'The Vernon Lifetime Daily Date Calendar - Instructions: We recommend that one person be designated to keep this calendar up to date. It is so outstanding it is seldom seen except in the most prominent business houses and should be given a prominent wall space because for many years it will be continually referred to by customer and employees. Attach to the wall with one good size nail in a position where it can be easily reached each day and seen by everyone. With the left hand raise the box so that in turning over the date sheet with the right hand it will not have to be bent and will remain flat underneath the box. Take particular care in working the card over the arches and back against the pile of cards. 
Replacement: The daily date cards should last for many years, However, if pad becomes damaged, complete replacement pad will be furnished at 60 cents each prepaid. Be sure and specify color. - The Vernon Company, Newton, Iowa - For over 50 years America's Finest Specialties and Sign's'. The condition of this original sign is still very good. The overall dimensions of this sign measure 10" wide by 15" high the depth of this sign is 1 1/2". The sign tells you the day of the week, the month, and the date. Also, note the bank building depicted on the face of this sign. Nice piece of advertising that you will want to add to your own personal collection. - $95.
