M131B  Hanging Ceiling Light Fixture Safeway Advertising

This all original old milk glass hanging ceiling light fixture globe advertises 'Safeway Stores'. This light came from a Safeway Grocery store that was in Minden, Nebraska. The store was operated and owned by the Fitzsimmon's  family, a prominent merchant there in Minden who operated the store for several years up until the family quit the grocery business in 1958 or 1959. The milk glass is in excellent all original condition. The globe measures approximately 13" inches in diameter and is 8" high. The metal bracket that the milk glass globe is attached to is 6" in diameter and is approximately 5" long. The chain could be adjusted but as is measures 32" long, and the metal ceiling mount is 5 1/4" diameter in size. This is a nice piece of advertising and if you collect advertising wouldn't this piece be the finishing touch in your room filled with great items and signs of advertising. Don't miss this one! - SOLD
