M242B Midland Mutual Fire Insurance Advertising Sign
This is an etched tin (copper?) advertising sign with a wooden frame. The sign is stamped in the lower right hand corner, 'Etching Co. of America - Chicago'. The sign has a rich look to it with the lettering being done in a gold color that reads, 'The Midland Mutual Fire Insurance Company - Newton, Kansas - Incorporated 1880'. The frame of the sign measures 21 1/2" x 14 3/4". The tin sign it's self is in excellent original condition the wooden frame is showing some minor wear in the lower right hand corner. This could easily be touched up if you would prefer it done. Don't miss adding this vintage insurance advertising sign to your own personal collections. - $265.
