M279C Antique U S Mail Box - Cast Iron & Tin- 1904
U S Mail Box door is made of cast iron. Reads Bates & Hawley Patent June 27, 1899. Has a pivotal letter drop and reads U S Mail. Style 3A Patented August 12 1902, Signal Mail Box Co. Joilet, Illinois Approved by the Postmaster General. Measures 18 1/2" Depth, 11 1/2" Height and 6" Wide. On the side there is a slot that you could slide your address name card. The flag for mail pickup is complete and intact. - $350.
