M287B #3 Cast Iron Skillet with Stove Advertising
Smaller size cast iron skillet that has impressed in it's bottom the following advertising for stoves, 'Martin Stove & Range Co. - Florence Alabama'. On the front side of this skillet impressed into the topside of the handle there is the number '3'. This skillet could be referred to as being a number 3 size skillet. The skillet does measures 6" in diameter, and the handle extends out 3 3/4" from the skillet base. The height of the skillet is just 1 3/8" high on it's sides. Note that there is a open slot in the handle which allows the skillet to easily be hung for displaying purposes, thus being able to feature the advertising on the backside of this skillet when you would display it. Pouring spouts on either side of the skillet. This is a nice all original piece of cast iron and stove advertising that would be a fun piece to add to your own personal collections. - Price $75.
