M291B Cast Iron Apple Peeler Kitchen Collectible
This all original old cast iron kitchen utensil apple peeler was made by and is signed, 'Made Only By The Reading Hardware Co. - Reading, PA' There is several patent dates also listed on the top of this kitchen collectible. '1872 , 1877 are two of the years that are very legible. The gears all work and are not rusted. The apple peeler is complete with the 'C' clamp. This piece stands 11 1/2" high when clamped onto a board. The largest wheel has a diameter of approximately 6 1/4". What a great piece of cast iron that was so practical and functional as a kitchen utensil. - Price $175.
