M305A Stover Junior #8 C.I. Waffle Iron in Box
- What a Cute Thing! This is an all original old cast iron Stover Junior No. 8 waffle iron that is all complete and still in the original box. Notice the cute graphics of a mother and daughter in the kitchen cooking that is depicted on the box, and the fun pictures of children playing on all the box edges. This box measures 6 3/4" x 5 1/4". The cast iron waffle iron has been used, the condition is still very good, there is only a little burnt discoloration on the wooden handles closest to the cast iron section. The wooden handles are only discolored they are not weaken at all.
This waffle iron is just like the large Stover waffle irons. It was made like the famous Stover Waffle Irons of larger size with teeth so designed and arranged that waffles are always made of uniform thickness, insuring their baking quickly and evenly. Stover waffle irons were Manufactured by Stover Mfg. & Engine Co. Freeport, Illinois.
This piece is a must for any collector of children items, or if you collect cooking utensils.
