M336C Victorian Turnbull's Family Scale
This is a unique Victorian scale with a cast iron claw foot base. The scale is marked, 'Turnbull's Family Scale - To Weigh 16 Lbs. By ounces.' The scale has a spring that weighs the items placed in the tin tray. This is an early scale that is in remarkable original condition. The tray measures 17" x 9" wide and the overall height is 12 1/2" high. The back plate on the dial is a brass plate. Very unique and early Victorian scale. This scale could have been used for either a home or country store usage. - SOLD
