M451B 1928 Telephone Calendar Nebraska
This is a very handy telephone list directory that would attach directly to a phone for a pull down listing of the phone numbers you would want to call. This list was never personalized and it still comes with its storage box that shows that it was a Christmas gift item from the Clarke Motor Co. of Fairbury, NE and Hebron, NE. The calendar on the backside is for the year 1928. This calendar was 'Sold by the Specialty Service Corporation. Des Moines, Iowa'. The calendar is 3 1/2" wide and pull out approximately 14" long. Inside the box there is still an instruction paper, (it has been torn in half) that reads, 'Saves Thumbing Through Telephone Directory - attach to telephone by merely removing and replacing rubber mouthpiece. Firm names and telephone numbers may be written on curtain with pencil or ink or curtain may be taken off and names and numbers put on with typewriter as curtain is detachable. To replace curtain give roll 8 to 10 turns to give spring proper tension.'. What a fun all original still in the box piece of Nebraska car dealer advertising with a 1928 calendar. - SOLD
