M508B 1916 Star Brand Shoes Adv Calendar
Spirited calendar with the picture of a prancing horse and woman rider with the title, 'The Winners'. This print is depicted on a paper calendar for the year 1916, and this calendar was given as a gift and advertising piece for, 'M. Olson & Co. - Dry Goods, Shoes, & Groceries - of Clear Lake, Iowa'. The calendar is all complete and notice the embossed phrase on the face of the calendar that reads, 'Rich gift of God - A year of time!', by Whittier. In the lower left hand corner is the emblem and advertising for Star Brand Shoes. This calendar measures 7" x 17 3/4". The paper calendar portion is 3 3/4" x 1 1/2". Below the oval picture of the horse this calendar is signed and it reads, 'Copyright 1914 by Roberts, Johnson, and Rand - Branch International Shoe Co.'. Very good all original condition on this paper advertising calendar. - SOLD
