M517B Short Tail Horse Windmill Weight Arm & Box

This is a complete set, this all original old cast iron short tail horse windmill weight comes all complete with the original iron arm or bracket and the tin weigh box that attached to the short tail horse. One can see this complete three piece set illustrated in photographs on the front of the windmill weight reference book, 'A Field Guide to American Windmills', by T. Lindsay Baker. Good all original condition. The total length of the iron arm is 68" long. The length of the horse from tail to nose 18" long. The box is 15" x 5" wide, and from the bottom of the box to the top of the horse's ear is 22" high. The side of the horse has the raised '58G' on its side. -  SOLD
