P012B  Companion Titled Color Comic Prints

Smiling is what you have to do when you absorb the characters that have been drawn in these color prints. One of the matching frame prints is titled, 'The Sheltering Palm'. This print depicts a traffic cop with his 'palms' extended directing traffic. The background scenery is a London or British setting, notice the double decker bus and the traffic cops attire that lead me to state this. The second companion or corresponding print is titled, 'Dignity and Impudence'. Notice that in this print the scene depicts two very different modes of transportation and that in both vehicles there is one riding in 'dignity' and being somewhat 'impudent' to the other person in the vehicle. These prints measure 10" x 8". The original condition of these frames and prints is very good. What great conversation starters these prints are, as well as being thought provoking. Original backings still on prints, the paper backings have deteriorated and come off over the years.
