This matted print and verse poem is about a Mother, and the print depicts an elderly woman 'a mother' resting in a chair with her Sunday bonnet on. The poem reads as follows:' It is a wonderful thing, a mother; other folks can love you, but only your mother understands, She works for you, looks after you, loves you, forgives you anything you may do, understands you, and then the only thing bad she ever does to you, is to die and leave you'. - by Baroness Von Hutton. The frame measures 11 1/4" wide by 15 1/4" long. A great tribute to mothers. Circa 1940's. - $75.
