P065B  Covered Wagon Print by Robert Wesley Amick

This is a beautifully done antique print that depicts an adventurous and exciting day in the life of the pioneers heading west in their covered wagon. The pioneers in the oxen pulled covered wagon are in battle with the Native Americans of the western plains. This frame measures 22" x 12". Notice the unique techniques that have been used on this print, bringing the sky and the mountains as well as the entire print more, to real life. The children are hugging one another in the back of the wagon with all the activity taking place in front of them. In the lower left hand corner this print is signed and dated, '1928 - Borin Manufacturing Company, Chicago'. The wooden frame is highlighted with an impressed feathered design around it.  This print is titled Covered Wagon by Robert Wesley Amick.
