P081B Hunting Dog Oil Painting Dated 1928

This is a very nice oil painting of a hunting scene with a Golden Retriever, pump action shot gun and the birds that have been hunted. This painting came from an estate of a Professor who had taught at Peru College in eastern Nebraska. The painting is signed 'M. Ingoldsby 1928'. This painting is finished in a beautiful complementing frame that measures 25 1/2" x 21 1/2". The same earth tone fall colors that are featured in the painting it's self are also the colors that decorate this wooden frame with gold highlights. Again this is a beautiful oil painting done on a canvas backing that is dated 1928. What a wonderful finishing touch this painting would make hanging in any man's office or home and in particular if he enjoys hunting. - SOLD
