P082B  Colonial Character Print & Frame 1904

This print depicts a Colonial couple resting as they sit beside the fireplace while waiting for the coffee pot to warm above the fireplace. This print is signed in the lower left hand corner, 'Copyright 1904 - By James Arthur'. Detailed print with all the accessories that one would find in an early colonial home, note the spinning wheel in the right hand side of the print. This print is a beautiful print and of equal beauty is the signature or character frame that complements this unit of print and frame as one. Notice the spinning wheel on the frame in the lower right hand corner, and then in the opposite upper left hand corner there is a hanging pot extending down from a hook in a true over the fireplace style of cooking. What an excellent old print and frame this character set is. The frame measures 18 1/2" x 21 1/2". The print it's self is 13" x 16".
