P135B Religious Lamb of God Print Christ Child

This all original old religious lithograph print depicts a small child with a baby lamb cuddled in one arm and in the other a staff done in the shape of a cross with a ribbon wrapped around the cross and the words, 'Ecce Agnus Dei'. It is my understanding that this is Latin for "Lamb of God." This is taken from John 1:36, where upon seeing Jesus, John the Baptist exclaims "Ecce Agnus Dei! This is a larger print that measures 18 1/2" x 22 1/2" to the outside of the frame. This print is an early lithograph and has such deep meaning in the scene that is depicted.
